Editor review

Deck Siege adds a base-capture mode over the standard arena loop. Two factions, four capture points per round, and the team-balance auto-corrects mid-round if lopsided. The auto-balance is the design choice that prevents the team mode from collapsing when the lobby tilts.

The base-capture mode rewards coordinated play. Solo aggression scores poorly; coordinated rotations score well. The mode rewards a class of player who otherwise drifts away from io-style games.

Played across multiple Liverpool Liverpool Merseyrail morning rides. The format suits the commute well; rounds run three to five minutes.

The weakness is the voice-chat absence. The mode rewards coordination and the platform does not support quick-chat or voice. A wheel-based quick-chat would solve this. Three stars; the mode design is strong and the coordination tooling is missing.
