Editor review
Shuffle Arc is a timing arcade where you stop a sweeping card shuffle at the right moment to reveal matching pairs. Thirty rounds with shuffle-speed variation.
What works is the visual sweep. The shuffle moves smoothly across the screen at a readable speed. Players can predict the timing within a few attempts.
Thirty rounds with shuffle speed escalating per round. Late rounds have fast sweeps that require sub-second reactions.
Tested over four Liverpool Library afternoon sessions. Touch tap is the natural input. Mouse-click also works.
Where the design earns its rating is the match-prediction layer. Skilled players read the upcoming card sequence and predict where matches will fall. Pure reflex play scores lower than pattern-reading play.
Where I would push back is the campaign length. Thirty rounds is short. Sixty rounds with rule variations would have given the format more legs.
Three-and-a-half stars. Solid card-shuffle timing arcade with thoughtful prediction layer. Limited by short campaign.
